Managing members
The Team page
Section titled “The Team page”Open Team in the console to see everyone in your organization, with each person’s role and status. Admins also see the invitation form and the pending invitations here. See Invitations.
A member marked Deactivated has been removed from active use. They can’t connect devices, and the API keys they created no longer work.
Removing a member
Section titled “Removing a member”The console doesn’t have a remove button yet. To remove someone from your organization, an Admin can email hello@getnodea.com.
When a member is removed:
- their devices can no longer connect to the organization
- the API keys they created stop working. Replace those keys before removing an Admin who created keys that are still in use
- the last Admin can’t be removed
Leave an organization or delete your account
Section titled “Leave an organization or delete your account”Both options are on the Account page, under Danger zone.
Leave organization
Section titled “Leave organization”Click Leave organization and type the organization’s name to confirm. When you leave:
- Your devices are removed from the organization and disconnected.
- API keys you created stop working. They stay listed, marked Disabled, until an Admin deletes them. Ask an Admin to create replacements before you leave.
- To come back, you need a new invitation.
After leaving, you can create a new organization or accept an invitation to another one.
Delete account
Section titled “Delete account”Click Delete account and type your email address to confirm. This removes you from your organization with the same effects as leaving, and then deletes your account. If you’re the last member, the organization is deleted too.
